Nothing ruins good flower faster than old, resin-coated glass. A clean piece tastes better, pulls smoother and looks a whole lot better on your table. Here is the Potent Roots routine.
What you need
- 91 percent or higher isopropyl alcohol
- Coarse salt
- A zip bag or a container with a lid
- Pipe cleaners and cotton swabs
- Warm water
Step by step
- Rinse the piece with hot water to loosen resin. Let glass warm up gradually so it does not crack.
- Add isopropyl alcohol and a spoonful of coarse salt. Plug the openings or seal it in a bag.
- Shake for a minute or two. The salt scrubs while the alcohol dissolves the resin.
- Use pipe cleaners and swabs for tight spots.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water until there is no alcohol smell left.
- Let it dry completely before you use it.
How often?
Change the water in water pipes after every session. Do a full clean at least once a week if you use it often.
Keep it looking fresh
Store your glass on a Potent Roots Rolling Tray so ash and resin stay off your furniture.
